
Khenchen Könchog Gyaltsen Rinpoche
Khenchen Könchog Gyaltsen Rinpoche is a highly respected master and senior lineage holder of the Drikung Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in Tibet in 1946, he received extensive training in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and the teachings of the Drikung Kagyu lineage.
After leaving Tibet, Rinpoche continued his studies and later settled in the United States, where he has dedicated his life to preserving and transmitting the Dharma. He has taught extensively internationally and is known for presenting profound Buddhist teachings in a clear, practical, and accessible way.
Khenchen Rinpoche places particular emphasis on meditation, compassion, Bodhicitta, and integrating the Buddha’s teachings into everyday life. He is also an accomplished author and translator of numerous works on Tibetan Buddhism and has played an important role in making the Drikung Kagyu teachings available to practitioners in the West.
